A serene retreat in the heart of Chinatown

Located amid Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant Chinatown but with a focus on serenity, nature and self-discovery, Else Retreats invites travellers to disconnect from the noise of daily life. Housed in the iconic 1930s Lee Rubber building, the 49 Suites blend deco detailing and modern interiors – and perfectly bridges the gap between chilled country life and chic city style.

Else Retreat’s restaurants draw on nature, serving ‘comforting classics’ or contemporary rustic options. This modern-meets-rural connection continues outside, with peaceful infinity pools, meditation pods and plenty of space for relaxation and reflection.

Great value mid-range hotel in the city centre

Located in the heart of Bukit Bintang, just 5 minutes walking distance from the famous Jalan Alor, Citizen M is a comfortable, central Kuala Lumpur property.

The 210 rooms each feature an XL bed and all modern conveniences, including a flatscreen TV, safe deposit box, air conditioning and hot water shower.  Guests can download a free app or use the in-room iPad to adjust the lights, temperature and other settings. The hotel also boasts 24/7 dining, a bar, free parking and a shared lounge.

Nature-focused, private pool villas overlooking the Andaman Sea

Nestled in Langkawi’s tropical rainforest and overlooking the Andaman Sea, Ambong Pool Villas offers a peaceful, mindful sanctuary. Crafted from sustainably sourced timber, the property’s nine villas harmonise indoor and outdoor spaces, boasting private pools and breathtaking views.
